Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is directly related to cancer and its distant spread, thus, it considered a promising biomarker for diagnosis post-treatment monitoring of patients with malignancies. Zinc protoporphyrin (ZnPP) zinc-centered raw purple compound (protoporphyrin) that has unique optical electrochemical characteristics. In this study, we used ZnPP-modified gold electrode generate chemical bond Avastin by self-assembly fabricate Au/ZnPP/Avastin electrode. Bovine serum protein (BSA) was added the prevent non-specific linkage biomolecules. The prepared Au/ZnPP/Avastin/BSA electrodes were detection VEGF cyclic voltammetry amperometry. properties ZnPP analyzed an ultraviolet/visible/near-infrared spectrometer photoluminescence spectrometer. structural hydrophilic/hydrophobic investigated Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy contact angle gauge, respectively. detected either (w/LT) or without light treatment (w/o LT). w/LT showed linear range sensitivity 0.1 pg/mL–10 ng/mL 6.52 μA/log(pg/mL)-cm2, respectively; corresponding values w/o LT 10 3.15 had good specificity minimally influenced other molecules. excellent range, high sensitivity, selectivity indicate have great potential diagnostic prognostic applications in
